Vanilla Flavored New Zealand Blackcurrants Smoothie

While working at your desk, it is possible to give your eyes a boost with this tasty treat.

Ingredients

  • 200 grams New Zealand Blackcurrants, frozen
  • Raisins (Dates or other chopped fruit that can add a bit of sweetness are also good substitutes.)
  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract 

Method

Place all ingredients in an electric blender and mix. The rich flavor of the vanilla is wonderfully compatible with blackcurrants. Throw in a pack of coarsely chopped spinach to turn this eye-healthy smoothie green!
